Bane in the City is the third episode of The Batman: Gotham Crusaders

Synopsis[]

The episode begins with a weak and skinney man walk up to three mob bosses, who give him a mission, to defeat their common foe, Batman.

Meanwhile, Batman stops a robbery. Two men walk out of a bank, with bags full of cash. Batman uses his a batarang to cut through their bags and cut off their mask, without a scratch on them, but frightened, they pass out. Suddenly, Bane walks up and activates a small gadget on his wrist, and he bulks up, from a weak, skinney, man, to a humungous man. Batman attempts to stop him, but Bane quickly defeats him, leaving Batman severely damaged. Before passing out, he calls Alfred to get him.

The next morning, Alfred suggest, that since Gotham believes Batman is dead, Bruce should move on with his life, but Bruce tells him that Gotham needs the Batman. When Alfred returns to Bruce's room with coffee, Bruce isn't there.

Alfred finds him in the Batcave, working on Large robotic hands and feet, with a head right next to him. Not wanting to see Bruce get hurt, Alfred is about to leave, but remembers something from when Bruce was a kid.

At the police station, a 10 yr old Bruce is shown sitting down,

when Alfred arrives. Alfred promises Bruce that even though he

can't replace his parents, he will never leave Bruce's side.          

He takes the wrench from Bruce and starts helping him.

Meanwhile, Bane has messed up half of downtown Gotham. Yin follows him to the city bank and is almost smashed, but Batman arrives in a large robotic suit, he calls the Batbot. They begin brawling, and Bane rips off one of the Batbot's arms. Bane pins him down, but before crushing him, Batman uses the other arm to grab a wire from the other arm and electricutes the venom dispensor.

Later that night, Bruce starts repairing the Batbot, but Alfred suggest some rest. As the episode ends he replies "I guess that Batman doesn't need rest, but I guess Bruce Wayne might."
