Edward "Ed" Nygma is a villain in I,The Knight. Ed was always pressured by his father to be the best. If Ed came home with a B in class,he was beat. Only strait A's were good enough for his father. On his death-bed, Ed's father's last words to Ed were "You'll never be smart enough". Ever since that day Edward warped his brain striving to be the smartest person alive to spite his father. Ed used his knowledge to preform elaborate crimes and robberies. Ed left subtle clues or "riddles" to where he was going to strike next. The police began calling him The Riddler. Batman was the only one who could solve Riddler's riddles and Ed was soon brought to justice. The Riddler made it his goal in life to find out who The Batman really is.
Riddler later with the help of Croc, escaped Arkham Asylum and teamed up with Croc in order to have vengeance on Batman. But they did not make the best team and were easily taken back to Arkham.
He is played by Edward Norton.
