Dr. Harleen Quinzel was a psychiatrist at Arkham Asylum who was driven insane by her patient, The Joker himself. She figured out what she wanted to really be. A criminal named Harley Quinn that works for her "Mista Jay".

Dr. Harleen Quinzel was a psychiatrist at Arkham Asylum. She was assigned a patient who is called "The Joker" because no one knows his real name. She was charmed by his talkative personality. He would often tell her the story of how he got his scars. Sometimes his father did it sometimes he did it sometimes Batman did it. When Batman "died" Joker went into a depression. Harleen was frusterated and began to study his every move until she figured out what he wanted her to do. He wanted her to fullfill his legacy as the Nightwing had done to Batman. Harley used a scalpel to cut her cheek and give herself a smile-like scar. She wore a red and black harlequin outfit and took on the name of "Harley Quinn". She terrorized the city the same way the Joker had done, dropping gas bombs and robbing banks. She killed many people before Nightwing finally tried to stop her. Before she could shoot him Batgirl jumped in front of the gun saving Nightwing's life. Harley was taken into Arkham and put in a cell near the Joker. She vowed to free him and escape. Then she would kill the Nightwing and all of his sidekicks.
