Shadow of the Bat is the working title for an upcoming reboot of the Batman film franchise. It is set in the same universe as the Zack Snyder film Man of Steel.

- Oswald Cobblepot/The Penguin: The main antagonist of the film who is a wealthy Gotham socialite who owns the popular club known as the Iceberg Lounge as well as being a criminal with a bird motif who seeks to take complete control over Gotham's Criminal Underworld.
- Waylon Jones/Killer Croc: Penguin's right-hand-man and muscle.
- Hamilton HIll: The corrupt mayor of Gotham City who is controlled by and in the pocket of The Penguin.

Summary[]
Bruce Wayne retrns to Gotham City after years of self-imposed exile, and as he seeks to establish himself as a costumed vigilante in Gotham City we see flashbacks of how he became Batman.
